Overview

Florida runs Pick 3 (Pick 3), Pick 4 (Pick 4) and Pick 5 (Pick 5). Each is a daily-number game — you pick the digits and the lottery draws the same number of digits, each from 0–9. Tap a game to open its full results history and pattern analytics on DueDigits.

National & multi-state games

Beyond its daily-number games, Florida also sells Powerball and Mega Millions. Tap a game for live results, jackpot history, hot & cold numbers, and Smart Picks.

DueDigits tracks Florida’s daily-number games and the national jackpot games shown above. Florida also runs other draw and instant games — for example in-state jackpot, add-on, keno, fast-play, and scratch-off games — that DueDigits doesn’t currently track. For the state’s full game lineup, see the Florida Lottery.

Drawing Schedule

All times are U.S. Central. Sales usually close shortly before each draw — confirm exact cutoffs with the Florida Lottery.

  • Pick 32× daily: Midday (12:30 CT) · Evening (20:45 CT)
  • Pick 42× daily: Midday (12:30 CT) · Evening (20:45 CT)
  • Pick 52× daily: Midday (12:30 CT) · Evening (20:45 CT)

How to Play

Florida’s daily-number games share the standard menu of play types:

  • Straightmatch the drawn digits in exact order — the top payout.
  • Boxwin on any arrangement of your digits — a lower payout with better odds.
  • Straight/Boxsplit one stake across a straight and a box on the same number.
  • Combocovers every straight arrangement of your digits at once.
  • Front / Back Pairmatch just the first or last digits, in order, instead of the whole number.

Florida also offers add-on features — FIREBALL — that layer a bonus number or extra wager on top of your play for an added cost.

Not every play type is offered on every game, and add-ons can change, so confirm the current menu with the Florida Lottery. For the full breakdown of how each bet pays, see Box vs. Straight Payouts.

Prizes & Odds

Because every result is equally likely, the straight odds for each game are fixed:

  • Pick 3 (Pick 3)1 in 1,000 straight.
  • Pick 4 (Pick 4)1 in 10,000 straight.
  • Pick 5 (Pick 5)1 in 100,000 straight.

Box plays have better odds but smaller payouts. Prize amounts vary by play type, wager size, and state, and can change over time — check the Florida Lottery for current Florida payout tables. No past result ever changes a future draw; see Lottery Odds Explained for the full math and what “due” really means.

Claiming Florida Lottery Prizes

Prizes up to $599 can be cashed at any Florida Lottery retailer. Larger prizes are claimed at a Florida Lottery district office or headquarters, or by mail.

Deadline: You have 180 days from the drawing date (draw games) to claim a Florida draw-game prize. Check the deadline printed on your ticket, since an expired ticket can’t be redeemed.

Taxes: Florida has no state income tax, so the state doesn’t tax lottery winnings — but federal tax still applies (24% withheld on prizes over $5,000). This isn’t tax advice; consult a professional.

Claim locations, deadlines, and tax details can change — always confirm the current process with the Florida Lottery. This is general information, not legal or tax advice.

Florida Lottery Winner Privacy & Public Records

In many states, a lottery winner’s name and city or county become public record once a prize is claimed, and the lottery may use them in publicity. Some states let winners remain anonymous, or claim through a trust or legal entity to keep their name private.

Florida winners of $250,000 or more are shielded from public disclosure for 90 days after claiming, but can’t remain permanently anonymous — the winner’s name, city, game, date, and amount are public record. Some winners claim through a trust.

Winner-privacy laws change; confirm the current policy with the Florida Lottery before you claim a large prize.
